Virtual Forests Twins based on 3D point cloud data allows studing forests from your screen!

It4forest ethusiast Hainner Salamanca Aparicio and others produced a story map summarising work of the autum school of the Virtual Forest project, a Erasmus Plus Projects funded by the EU. During the autum school, students had among others, the chance to work on the creation of their own ArGIS storymap. This tool has been useful to disseminate our technical work to a broader audience and the public in general. With useful capabilities to present in an aesthetic and appealing manner the work carried out on virtual forest twins from martelloscope data. One of the StoryMaps was created as a pilot of the forthcoming all locations data from all the project partners’ martelloscopes.
