Listen to Episode THREE ofThe high-flyers” – the official podcast of the WINMOL project.

In the third episode, we focus on assessing the risk of a forest being potentially damaged by a storm in the future. We have invited two experts from the Thünen Institute of Forest Ecosystems to join us. We learn from them how models can be used to identify vulnerable forest areas and how modeling can contribute to making our forests more resilient to the challenges of climate change.

The podcast is in German only.

Authors of the episode are Nicole Albert and Stefan Reder with Catrin Stadelmann, Line Grottian, Marco Natkhin

The podcast was produced as part of the project “WINMOL – Recording and forecasting storm damage in forests”.
