A delegation from the Build4People project presented at the 28th IAPS Conference “Enacting Transdisciplinar Knowledge: People, Places, Movements and Sustainabilities” in Barcelona. The conference provided an excellent platform for the project to showcase its transformative approaches to sustainable urban development, as it gathered a diverse and multidisciplinary audience of researchers, practitioners and academics from different fields related to human-environment studies. Jan-Peter Mund presented together with Anke Blöbaum and Michael Waible on “Supporting Sustainable Urban Transformation in Cambodia: The Build4People Project”. By presenting at the international forum, the project shared its innovative research methods, findings and practical applications in areas such as green infrastructure, sustainable neighbourhoods and behaviour change for sustainability. The B4P team advocated for understanding urban transformation as an integrated approach involving multiple stakeholders in an iterative dialogue, and for engaging societal actors in continuous learning and change processes to promote implementation.
