IT4Forest enthusiast Ramazan Bülbül had the privilege of participating in the 44th EARSeL Symposium held from 26/05/2025 to 29/05/2025 in Prague. The event provided an excellent opportunity to present recent work and engage with a multitude of inspiring minds during this exceptionally well-organised gathering.
EARSeL, the European Association of Remote Sensing Laboratories, serves as a scientific network for remote sensing institutes across Europe, encompassing both academia and the commercial/industrial sectors. The EARSeL Symposium offers the chance to learn about the latest advancements in remote sensing technologies and applications. The symposium featured presentations on various topics, including environmental monitoring, data analysis, and applications in sectors like agriculture, forestry, and urban planning.
Bülbül was honoured to ADAPT-Wald-Holz and TreeDigitalTwins, both part of the REGULUS – Regionale Innovationsgruppen für eine klimaschützende Wald- und Holzwirtschaftproject. During the symposium, Ramazan Bülbül delivered a presentation on their latest research titled: “Digital Forest Inventory using Fused UAV and PLS Point Cloud Data”.
