Abidjan, 16 February. In the frame of the project “Triangular cooperation for digital innovations Made in Africa” implemented by Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, IT4Forest-affiliated Professor Jan Peter Mund conducted a training session for CURAT – the Centre Universitaire de Recherche et d’Application en Télédétection. The project among others focuses on user-centred drone operations: It develops drone solutions that are tailored to local biodiversity and climate action needs. The training conducted by Professor Mund on behalf of GIZ was fostering cross-border knowledge sharing and, in particular, accelerates the development of data-driven innovations using drone technologies in the field of biodiversity and climate.
